SAIL SERENE carries out all activities in compliance with the law and with all the regulations in place in its area of operation.

 

BANNING ANY FORM OF DISCRIMINATION

Any form of discrimination, whether based on race, nationality, gender, age, physical disabilities, sexual orientation, political, philosophical or religious beliefs towards employees, external collaborators, suppliers, clients or visitors is prohibited.

 

CONFIDENTIALITY

Personal data and all the acquired information will not be utilized for personal use or in ways that defy the law or otherwise damage the company.

SAIL SERENE prohibits any form of harassment – psychological, physical, sexual.  Harassment refers to any form of intimidation or threat which obstructs the regular execution of the activities.

POLLUTION PREVENTION

We follow the guidelines stated in MARPOL Annex V which generally prohibits the discharge of all garbage into the sea. Garbage includes all kinds of food, domestic and operational waste, all plastics, cargo residues, cooking oil, fishing gear. Garbage does not include fresh fish and parts thereof generated as a result of fishing activities undertaken during the voyage. Breaching of these rules from the crew and passengers will result in disciplinary actions and financial charges as applicable from the Dubai Maritime City Authority.
